The Thule 884 Roll Model Kayak Roof Rack Mount Carrier is a horizontal carrying type carrier that combines the dual saddle elements of Thule's Glide and Set Rooftop Saddle Kayak Carrier with an added rear roller. Together these three elements allow for easy roof rack loading and unloading of kayaks from the rear of your vehicle, with the rear roller allowing for even further stability that is often needed when actions are performed by a single person.

Thule's Glide and Set Carrier Plus and Easy-loading Roller
The Thule 884 Roll Model Kayak Roof Rack Mount Carrier makes loading and unloading kayaks easy by combining the saddle elements of Thule's Glide and Set Rooftop Saddle Kayak Carrier with an easy-loading rear roller attachment. Thule's Glide and Set Rooftop Saddle Kayak Carrier is a combination of Thule's Hydro Glide and Set-to-go Saddles, which utilize your existing roof rack to create a kayak rack to transport your boat safely and securely. The Set-to-go saddles are installed along the front load bar of your roof rack. Adjustable for maximum hull contact, once kayaks come in contact with them they provide maximum protection against lateral movement and overall transport stability. In the Glide and Set system Thule Hydro Glide saddles are mounted on the corresponding rear load bar of your rack. Unlike the Set-to-go saddles, Hydro Glide saddles utilize their low-friction, felt interior surface to allow for maximum movement of kayaks pushed across them from the back towards the front of vehicle racks where the Set-to-go saddles will hold the kayak firmly in place. But since kayaks can be heavy and awkward, especially if being loaded by a single person, Thule has added a very helpful roller attachment for its 884 Roll Model Kayak Roof Rack Mount Carrier. This roller extends behind the rear mounted Hydro Glide saddles, centering and guiding kayaks onto the two sets of saddles and distributing weight with a smooth, gliding motioning for easier loading.

The Thule 884 Roll Model Kayak Roof Rack Mount Carrier also includes all the necessary straps to secure kayaks to the saddles, and bow and stern tiedowns with ratcheting hooks attachments to further secure mounted kayaks to your bumper or tow hook by way of your kayak's grab handles. Simply pull the free end of the tiedown ropes to the desired tightness. Due to the mounting configuration of the rear roller attachment, the Thule 884 Roll Model Kayak Roof Rack Mount Carrier fits Thule square bar rack systems only.

Thule will warranty all Thule brand car rack systems and its accessories manufactured by Thule during the time that an original retail purchaser owns the product. This warranty terminates if a purchaser transfers the product to any other person. No warranty is given for defects caused by normal wear and tear, cosmetic rust, scratches, accidents, unlawful vehicle operation, or modification of, or any types of repair of a load carrier system other than those authorized by Thule.
